Marco Warm Panels
Laminated Panel Construction: Marco Warm Panels use face materials such as:
- PVF2 and polyester powder coated Alumnium and Steel
- Light Gauge Enamelled Sheets
- Painted Cementitious Boards
- High Pressure laminate, such as Resoplan, Lamin, Polyrey, etc.
- Plastisol
Structural adhesives includign Polyurethane are used to bond all materials securely by means of a Vacuum Press. The choice of adhesive and laminating process varies depending upon the strength requirements and the area of the panel to be manufactured.
Panels to meet fire and sound specifications can be fabricated from alternative cores.
Due to its closed cell structure, extruded polystyrene foam offers unique properties that provide the panel fabricator with an excellent laminating material as a quality core for sandwich construction. These properties include:
- high compressive strength
- high resistance to moisture and vapour absorption
- permanent low thermal conductivity
- excellent shear strength
- high bond tensile strength
- optimal lamination surface
- easy to use
- lightweight
- homogenous density
- available cut to close thickness tolerances
Performance: Thermal
The table below illustrates the core insulation thickness required for a range of insulation materials for panels, to meet current Building Regulation U values.
